Morningpaw padded out of the apprentices den. When she saw Nightpaw's limp body she froze then vigorously started grooming herself trying not to cry. "What happened," she asked starting to cry.
Larkpaw stood up, trying not to look as distressed as she was. She forced herself to blink back her tears as she walked over to the medicine cat apprentice.

Shinepaw shot up, and looked at Nightpaw. How did this HAPPEN? She thought. But there was no time for that. "It's gonna be ok, Nightpaw. It's gonna be ok." She mewed, and dashed into the Herb Storage. She pulled out Cobwebs, Comfrey, Tansy, Poopyseeds, and Marigold. She rushed back to the scene. She quicklly made a polituce out of the Comfrey, then applied it to Nightpaw's leg. She then put Tansy, and the Maigold on the Leg, and wrapped it up in Cobwebs. She then took two of the Poppy Seeds and gave them to Nightpaw. "Eat these." She mewed.
