Ebonyroot walked cautiously on the edge of the border, her senses alert for any signs of badgers or rouges.

Bumblepaw had snuck away from camp again, as if anyone cared. He just love scaring the cats. Mabey he would see the murder of Sootpelt again. That would be exciting he meowed. He turned around swiftly when he smelt a ShadowClan scent. "Who's there", he hissed.

The she-cat flattened her ears, she recognized that voice, but couldn't place it. "It doesn't concern you." she called back simply.

Bumblepaw padded out of the shadows, his fur bloody from a mouse he killed messily. "Who are you"he growled.

Ebonyroot flicked her eyes over, but stayed where she was. Her eyes sparked when she realized who it was. "Bumblekit?" she called, ignoring his question.

"Bumblepaw", adding an annoyed hiss to the end. He had remembered listening his father talking about this cat, Brightpaw's mentor, medicine cat of ShadowClan.

Ebonyroot's whiskers twitched in amusement. "As stubborn as your father." she mused, "I'm Ebonyroot. And, what are you doing out here?"

"Getting away from the clan ,they are just horrid (heh XD)". The apprentice looked down in a bout of frustration, he hated to be compared to his father." havevyou seen a ThunderClan cat pass by here", he meowed questionably"?

Ebonyroot flattened her ears, a small hiss under her breath. "I should hope not. Why?"

"Ohh no reason" he purred with a smirk. "So waht do you know about me then",he asked, he didn't hear much except insults from kits and that wasn't good enough for him.

Ebonyroot flicked her tail and stepped over the border. "More then you would like." She smiled slyly at him.

Deathowl sat not far away in a tree, she had been trying to get some burrs from her fur. She turned her head when she heard other cats.

Bumblepaw merowed with laughter ,"ahh yes of course".

Ebonyroot started to roll her eyes before pausing. "Do you scent that?" She wrinkled her nose.

Hazelpaw padded behind Deathowl and sprung her long almost completly straight claw digging into the rogues shoulder and then slamming a sheathed unsheathed paw doown on her head.
