Ambitions

"Barely any, attually." Dragonsoul commented.

Sleepyyawn turned around and faced them. "So we're supposed to stand by and watch cats die from petty rivalry? The code has taught us all to be too prideful. But if they were to put their reason over honor..." he stared through green flashing eyes. "I must spill blood to prevent more blood from being spilled."

Leopardheart growled. "I would fight you."

Hawkpath, feeling hopless and unheard, flattened herself to the ground.

His eyes flashed at Leopardheart. "You don't want to stop this needless bloodshed?"

"Needless bloodshed." Dragonsoul sighed. "Day after day, some cat is cat, scratched, killed by another." she mewed. "But do you really think we could stop it?" she mewed.

"I think we could." Sleepyyawn mused. "We are taught to do such; when we could just swallow our pride and settle our differences. We have to many divisions."

"I aggree, we should." Dragonsoul mewed.

He smiled slyly. "I will need an ally like you."

Hawkpath walked away into the darkness, for she did not desire to be any part of this.

Dragonsoul fluffed her fur "I will be of assistence to the best of my abilitys." she mewed. "And I no two live cats that would jump at this chance as well." she mewed. "You have a good heart, Sleepyyawn, now to see if we can do the same to the living."

He purred. Dragonsoul had some sense after all.
