Icepaw's Medicine Cat Ceremony

Ebonyroot padded into WindClan camp, heading at once for the Medicine Cat den. "Icepaw, are you in here?"

OOC: Can you haunt Ice as well? He needs to talk to you!

IC: "I'm right here!" he called from his den, just finishing sorting his herbs, for the 3rd time.

"You need something?" he asked.

"We're going to the Moonstone." Ebonyroot replied, "Come on, let's go." The she-cat purred and padded back out of camp.

OOC: @Ice: I meant you in the first place. xD

OOC:...Ice is not a she...also it's a yes for Panther! =D

Icepaw suddenly sat up, knowing what this moment was.

"My ceremony? Already! I-I can't believe it!" he meowed as he bounded out of his den, catching up easily to his soon-to-be previous mentor.

ooc: orly? o.o Yay.

"How did you know?" Ebonyroot purred, breaking into a run for the highstones.

"Well, all my training is done...and why else would we be going there?" he explained, taking no time to break into a run also. He matched his pace to her's and smiled, surprised he had to look down to look at her. He began to remember when she seemed large to him.

OOC: Not fat, just big compared to him!

Ebonyroot's whiskers twitched in amusement. Being as close as they were, it wasn't long until they reached the Mothermouth. "Let's go then." she meowed quietly and slipping inside the cave.

ooc: wut? ;n; WUT? *munches on carrot desperately*

Icepaw nodded and slipped in behind her, remembering his first Medicine cat meeting, and his apprentice ceremony. It seemed like no time had passed for him. I wonder what will happen...

Ebonyroot led the tom into the cavern, the light of the moon already shining upon it's target and lighting a glow to the space and their pelts. She glanced at her apprentice, thinking that under the white light, he looked almost Along with him, she sat down next to the Moonstone; Taking in a deep breathe, she didn't speak until they both were ready.
She looked up to the stars. "I, Ebonyroot, Medicine Cat of ShadowClan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of the medicine cat, and with your help he will watch over and serve his clan for many moons." With a smile on her face, she looked down on him. She could imagine Dragonsoul watching him right now. "Icepaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of the medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalries between clan and clan, and to protect all cats equally; even at the cost of your life?"

"I do." he meowed calmly, despite his excitement.

Ebonyroot swelled with pride and spoke firmly, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your true name as a Medicine Cat; from this moment on you will be known as Icewhisker. StarClan honors your loyalty and determination, and you are welcomed as a full Medicine Cat of WindClan." Gleefully, she rested her head gently on his, to follow the tradition.

Icewhisker smiled, finally earning his name. He licked Ebonyroot's shoulder and sighed contently, forgetting about Fallensoul.

OOC: Aww...you made him happy! =D

Ebonyroot purred, taking a few steps back. "It's time for your first dream as a medicine cat." She said quietly.
