Medicine Cat Gathering [June '11]

"Oh, alright." Ebonyroot blinked in understanding, though it was a nice thought to know RiverClan had already chosen their next medicine cat. "We should.. um, be heading off then?" The ShadowClan she-cat cautiously padded out of fourtrees and in the direction of the Highstones.

Icepaw nodded and followed his mentor, knowing they would have to pass through WindClan. Hopefully my sister doesn't catch us... he thought sadly.

"Well? What are we waiting for?" Hawkpath mewed impatiently. "Lets go!" Hawkpath started to pad toward the Mothermouth.

Shinepaw started to follow the others. "Come on, Lilyleaf!" She mewed excitedly.

Lilyleaf got up and padded behind the group, towards Mothermouth and the moonstone.

Ebonyroot twitched her whiskers at Hawkpath's impatience. Soon, they arrived at the Mothermouth. "Should we still rush?" She teased the RiverClan cat and slipped inside the cave.

Shinepaw slipped inside the cave to, forgeting she even had a mentor. This is so exiting! She thought. What could possibly happen?

Icepaw smiled as he followed his mentor and sister through the cave.

Ebonyroot reached the stone and glanced at the both of them, the half-moon light shining brightly on the centerpiece. "Lay down, like you had done in your ceremonies. StarClan will send you sleep."
The ShadowClan cat rested on the ground and touched her nose to the silver stature. The room started to fade into a black, as she she closed her eyes there was a few thoughtless moments as she traveled to see her ancestors.
The she-cat blinked her eyes open. There were no stars in the sky, yet she recognized the place as ShadowClan land. What would normally hang in the skies rested in the grass and waters. Ebonyroot froze, hearing someone approach from behind her. She whipped her head around. It was her father, Blackraven, as well as a few other ShadowClan members.
"A dark time is coming for your clan, a battle with those you may not speak with, you cannot fight them on your own; However, when you recover, you will be stronger then ever."
"With those we cannot speak with?" Ebonyroot flicked her tail, "What do you mea- Oh.. Thank you, Blackraven..." She stopped herself and dipped her head, knowing how ever-so-stubborn StarClan was in their warnings. All she could do was prepare her clan.
He smiled back at her, a look of pride on his face, the clearing disappeared before her eyes.
Ebonyroot blinked her eyes open.

Icepaw nodded laid down on the ground and pressed his nose to the bright stone, falling unconscious.

He woke up in a place he did not recognize. The area was covered in trees. ThunderClan territory? he asked himself.

"Hello again Icepaw." mewed a familiar voice.

"Twilightkit? Where are you?" he meowed, looking around the strange territory. He heard the rushing of water close by and followed it, soon enough finding the river that separates ThunderClan from RiverClan. He noticed the small black she-cat sitting on the edge.

"I used to be ThunderClan. The only reason I'm not is because of this river. It was as cold as ice." she mewed. Icepaw thought for a bit, thinking about how he somehow saw a glimpse of her dieing when they first met.

"Icepaw before you go, just know this. Ice is strong, but Fire can melt it." she mewed before the dream started fading leaving him wondering what her words meant. He soon woke up and looked at Ebonyroot with a confused face.

OOC: I was hoping for something better but nothing came to mind

Shinepaw lay by the Moonstone. She pressed her nose to the stone, and soon enough, she fell unconshious.


She blinked open her eyes. She was surrouned by trees. Thunderclan territory... She thought. She looked around, but nothing was around. She padded around of a bit. Then she heard a strange voice behind her. "Shinepaw.."

Shine paw spun around, and faced a Starclan cat she did not reconize. "You are the new Thunderclan Medicine Cat Aprentence, hm?" Shinepaw dipped her head to the strange she-cat. "Yes, I am." She mewed. "Congratulations. I do belive this is your first time going to Moonstone, is it not? The Starclan cat asked. "Y-yes, it is." Shinepaw mewed, she was very exited. The She-cat smiled and purred. "I can tell you are exited, little one. But I only have one message for you: Choose The right path...." The she-cat fadded away, leaving nothing but mist. Shinepaw froze. "Choose the right path? What does she mean?" She wondered. She then closed her eyes, and awoke at the Moonstone. She looked around. Choose the right path... The words still rung in her head.

Hawkpath sat in a damp fog as a shadowy figure took place in front of her. "Greetings, Its been a long time..."

"Wildkit?!" Hawkpath mewed. Wildkit was Hawkpath's only brother born in the same litter. He dissapeared before he could become an apprentice. "Where did you go?" She asked him.

"No time" Wildkit said. "And call me Wildfang. I am no longer a kit." Wildfang walked over to Hawkpath. "There is danger in the forest, all because of your next life."

"My next life?" Hawkpath repeated. "What do you mean?"
"It's not your fault, it's hers. She is assembling a group of cats to rule. They are plotting as we speak." Wildfang started to fade away. "Beware the one that comes after you." Wildfang vanished.

"NO BROTHER! COME BACK! TELL ME MORE!" Hawkpath yowled at where Wildfang stood. Hawkpath woke up, the sound of his voice ringing in her ears. Beware the one that comes after you...

Rosepaw walked into the medicine cat gathering.
"I'm so sorry i'm late! I was walking and i ended up in a thorn bush. I had to take all of the thorns out," she meowed. "I made such a bad impression, i guess... But I can't fix it now."
