May Gathering 2011

It was a rather warm night. Fireflies danced through the grasses. Yet another full moon, and another gathering.

OOC: I was wondering when this would be. xD

IC: A gray pelt, turned to silver in the glare of the full moon, entered the clearing, not having noticed he'd pulled ahead of ThunderClan.

A silver coat, marked with darker stripes sniffed the air, then lead her clan into the security of Fourtrees. It was Featherstar, followed by her warriors and their apprentices.

Ebonyroot followed Bramblestar in the clearing, who obviously arrived before herself even though you can't see it... That'd right. Don't even look up. It's an invisable post.
She caught the scent of WindClan and her eyes bega to scan the group of incoming cats for site of her apprentice, Icepaw.

Metalpaw bounded into fourtrees while the rest of thunderclan followed. "Wow!" she exclaimed at the sight of so many cats. "All the clans must be here." she mewed.

wolfpaw padded into fourtrees after her clan, and looked around in awe at the silver color of everything. She breathed in deeply, recognizing the smell of ThunderClan, and another familiar scent. It must have been Shadowclan, where Ebonyroot was from, as she had smelled it on the medicine cat when Icepaw was training. My first gathering! she thought, this is so cool! she padded off to meet other cats.

Raccoontail bounded into the gathering. She smelled Thunderclan, and Shadowclan, but where was Riverclan? She wondered to herself. She went over to Ebonyroot. "Hello Ebonyroot" She greeted the young medicine cat.

Hazelkit had been her normal self and went to Fourtrees,Her favorite place."Wow"she thought.She hid downwind and saw Featherstar,Her grandma.

Metalpaw sat down next to the rest of thunderclan, she was shy and didn't like the other clans very much. "Riverclan smells like rotten fish, Shadowclan smells like crow food, and what cat would want to be as scrawny as windclan." Metalpaw muttered. "I like Thunderclan best!" she bosted.

And Skyclan? Hazelkit thought sadly.She may go there if it was the best clan.Maybe even Windclan or Riverclan.But never ever Shadowclan.

Wolfpaw was wondering around when she heard Metalpaw's comment. " why would anyone want to be in Thunderclan, all covered by trees and you can't even see the sky! At least we Windclan cats can see Silverpelt anywhere we are at night," she mewed, defending her clan

Deadfrost tried to catch Featherstar's gaze. Come on... I haven't seen you in so long.

Fallensoul followed wordlessly behind his mother.

Metalpaw looked over. "Any animal can see you a mile away in the clear enviorment of the plains." she mewed. "We stay covered and can stalk prey easier." she mewed fighting back but not hostile. She shifted her metal keg and it made a clank noise.

"well, we have speed that you could never hope to match!" wolfpaw replied, then, in an effort to change the subject, said, "by the way, what's your name?"

"Raccoontail." She purred, greeting the WindClan queen. "It's nice too see you." Her eyes flicked over to Wolfpaw and Metalpaw arguing.
"It's nice to see your daughter is as sharp-witted as you are..." She said in a teasing way, though it still had the ring of a compliment. Though it was obviously clear they were new apprentices, most wouldn't dare begin an argument at a gathering.
