Though he missed again he went over to the river and threw his paw in. His paw came out of the water with a fish in his paw and killed it with a swift bite.

Darkpaw sat his catch on the fresh-kill pile then took a mouse for himself, then he went over to the apprentice den and lyed in front of it and started tearing into the mouse.
