A slender yet muscular tom with sleek white fur and brown spots suddenly stepped out of some bushes that rested gently off to the side of the rocky clearing. He said nothing but sat down near the other cats gathering there, wrapping his tail around his feet. But instead of it falling flat on the ground, the tip of his tail stayed up in the air as if it was fixed that way.
