Cherryfern sighed. "Okay, I thought you looked a little lonely." she mewed, sad.

"Well..." she meowed, "I am a little lonely. You're gone, and so is Sadnose, so I have no friends to turn to..."

IC: Cherryfern`s eyes glistened with tears. "I know, Hollywhisper. I`m sorry. I shouldn`t have left you, even if that wasn`t my fault." Her voice was bitter as she thought about what she had done to her friend.

"It never was your fault," said Hollywhisper. "You died by doing something brave, and follwoing the Warrior Code."

"But I could have saved Twilightkit. I could have broke the surface, I could have swam to the bank, but I didn`t, Hollywhisper. I gave up, just when I thought I was able to do it. To save us both. But I gave up." Cherryfern argued.

Cherryfern`s pain broke over Firepaw in waves, and she struggled not to start crying for the brown she-cat.
