IC: Cherryfern stopped dead, and bowed her head to the tiny black kit. "I just wanted to say I`m sorry." she mewed, pain in her voice. "For letting you die. I`ll never forgive myself, because I know if I had actually tried, you would still be alive, Twilightkit. I took your life from you, and I can never make that right again. I don`t think I can even ask for your forgiveness. I just want you to know that I wished things could have been different, that I could have saved you, even if I had died anyway. I`m sorry, Twilightkit." she said finally, and despondently turned away.

Twilightkit looked at Cherryfern with sadness in her eyes.

"I forgive you...if StarClan didn't know it was our time, they wouldn't have let us die." she mewed, surprised by her own wisdom.

Sunset's ears twitched.
"Rainpaw? Is that you?"
She jumped from the tree.

Cherryfern smiled. "Thank you." She licked the kit`s head in gratitude. "I wish I could make this right."
