Ebonyroot padded around her den, setting down the make-shift reeds she had pulled out of the earth on the travel home.
She gave Bluestar a quick clean around the worst of her wounds, to help stop the risk of infection, and to allow the herbs to do their work. With a hiss, she realized she was running low on Marigold and instead pulled out a good amount of comfrey. Chewing the roots into a pulp, she covered the worst of the injuries. Gently padding down the poultice and straightening the leg back as best as she could with cobwebs, she grabbed the reeds from earlier. Tearing off the purple flowers with her teeth, she tied the rush around the she-cat's leg and body, for the extra support, as it was needed since StarClan had already healed the more fire areas broken leg awkwardly.
When she finished, Ebonyroot stepped back and sighed.
