Sneaking Out.

Twilightkit snuck out of camp to go to the river. Darkkit may think I'm weak...I'll show her...I'll catch a big fish! she thought as she looked at the fast flowing river. She hesitated a while but soon found the courage to do it. She tensed herself as a giant fish jumped out of the water and Twilightkit pounced. She missed it by a tail length and fell into the river.

"Help!" she mewed before being pulled down into the deep water.

Cherryfern had been walking out beside the river, and had seen Twilightkit fall in. "Oh no!!!" she mewed, lunging into the waters after the tiny kit.

The water was ice cold, even though the thaw had already begun. Cherryfern`s paws and legs turned to ice, and her mind froze up. What do I do?? she thought helplessly.

Twilightkit struggled at the cold water but soon she hit her head off a rock and fell unconscious.

Cherryfern ducked her head under the water again, and saw Twilightkit at the bottom of the river. She lunged down, stick limbs flailing, lungs screaming for air, but she kept going. She reached Twilightkit at the bottom of the river, and snagged her claws in the little kit`s fur, pulling her up to her chest. The kit didn`t move, and Cherryfern hissed underwater, bubbles streaming from her mouth, and she started to realize...she wasn`t coming back up. At least not alive. Well, there doesn`t seem to be anything to live for, she thought glumly. My mother is dead, my sister died at birth, I have no clue where my father is, I have no mate, nor am I going to find one. She kept going. My only friends are really Hollywhisper and Brightstream, but they won`t miss me much. Lionclaw didn`t have much interest in me to begin with, so what`s the point in living?? "It`ll be better just to let go." she whispered into the water, her words swept away by the churning, rushing water.

Twilightkit came back to consciousness but everything was numb. She turned her head to see brown she-cat holding on to her. Why aren't you doing anything! she hissed in her thoughts before she had to gasp. Ice cold water filled her mouth as she opened it. Twilightkit could not close it because of all the water that was rushing, but finally, everything went black, and Twilightkit's body went limp. She had drowned.

OOC: I'm sorry Snow! I knew I wanted Twi to die at a young age, and me and Cherry wanted to start our next lives. Sorry ThunderClan!

Cherryfern opened her eyes to see Twilightkit go limp. NO!!!!!!!! she screamed in her mind. Then her mind went fuzzy, and Cherryfern knew she was about to die. Light entered her vision, and a small kit came into view, who didn`t look like the black kit that floated in her numb claws. Cherryfern, the small shape whispered in her mind, let go.

Jaykit!! Cherryfern thought, and her sister nodded. I have come to take you and Twilightkt to StarClan, but first, you must let go of yourself, Cherryfern. Let go. Jaykit repeated, as Cherryfern slowly closed her eyes and let the water fill her lungs. Goodbye, everyone, she thought. I will watch you all in StarClan. Then, with that small thought of goodbye to all she had ever known, Cherryfern let put her last, lingering breath as she departed for StarClan with her tiny sister, and the kit she had failed to save.

OOC; Goodbye, Cherry!! *Sniff you are my best RP charrie evr, and I will always miss you.(I will still RP you in StarClan, though :D) Okay, now the rest of you can join. Someone can come and find Twi, and someone RC can finf meh. D:

OOC: Just getting caught by a rock and being resurfaced so people can find out bodies...

IC: Twilightkit and Cherryfern's bodies resurfaced after getting caught on a rock. Twilightkit looked down at her body as she went to join her sister in StarClan.

Sunset emerged from some bushes just in time to see the she-cat plunge into the water.
"No!"
She screeched. though she did not know this cat, she felt the urge to help her. She lunged foreward, but too late. The cat's fur slipped from her mouth everytime she tried to grab at her. She finally plummeted into the water, trying to save her. She could hear her blood in her ears. The water had almost killed her before, but she had to save this cat. She swam, not realizing it till she reached the body and hauled it onto her back. A lifeless shape hit her leg. A dark cat- no bigger than a kit. Her eyes opened wide as she identified Twighlightkit. She grabbed her in her mouth and tugged. The heavy weight pulled her down, but she was determined to reach shore. Pulling them up and onto the loose rocks, she struggled for breath as she lay down, gasping. She crawled to the she-cat, sniffing her. Dead. The kit had died, too. She bowed her head.
"Why couldn't I save them?!" She screeched.
Sunset pulled the bodies farther, into ThunderClan Territory where they would be protected from hawks and falcons. Leaving the kit in the brush so she could come back and get it later, she started tugging the she-cat. She'd have to cross the river, but she had too. Finally reaching the edge, she started her way to RiverClan camp.

Bluestar was padding out of camp when she heard screeching. Half way down to the river, she met up with Sunset of ThunderClan. She gazed in shock at the limp bodies. "Cherryfern!!" She screeched. She started nuzzling her to see if she had a pulse. "What happened?" Bluestar whispered to Sunset.

OOC: uh.... I already brought her to camp, but... ok :P

IC:
Sunset looked up from where she was gasping for air.
"She died trying to save a ThunderClan kit."

"...Oh.." She murmured.
