Exploring the camp

Forkkit woke up in the nursery. He opened his eyes, and got up, and looked around. He ran into the middle of the camp.

"Hello Forkkit." said a voice behind him. It was Tigerpaw. Her blood red eyes glowed in the morning light and her claws and fangs gleamed in the sunlight.

"Hi!" Forkkit said, bouncing up and down. " Will you show me the camp? And the forest? And the moonstone and... All the other places!?" He was very eager to explorer, so he asked the first cat he saw.

"Kits can't goo out of camp. It is dangerous, but I can show you around camp." She showed Forkkit around the camp. "Want to learn some of the duties apprentices do?"

" Sure!" Forkkikt said enthusiasticly.

"Well, we gather moss for the elders and clean out thier bedding. We search them for ticks, but we also do battle training and go on hunting and border patrols." she said.

"Cool. But I wouldn't want to help the elders with bedding and ticks. I've heard they're all cranky and crabby!" Forkkit said. He didn't let on that he knew the elders were old and wise and respected.

Jaybird went to pick up a vole from the freshkill pile when he saw Tigerpaw showing Frokkit around "Hey Tigerpaw,showing Forkkit around?" He asked "That is nice of you"
