Sitting by herself near the edge of camp, Sweetheart brushed her tail vigorously in an effort to clean it. She'd just gotten back from a hunting patrol, one in which she'd brushed her tail across the wrong bush and now a million little thorns and stickers clung to its fluff. Grumbling under her breath and in her usual sour mood, she paid no mind to any-cat that crossed her path, that was until she showed up...

I’m the only one of me
Addercrest couldn't help how funny it was, watching her former mentor struggling with thorns in her tail. Now she knew what it felt like, having a thorn stuck to her.

Those thorns may have been the only thing that could possibly want to be around her.

Except maybe Addercrest, if only to take any opportunity she could to torment her.

"Here! Let me help with that!" She plastered on a smile as she approached Sweetheart, bending down towards the thorns before even waiting for a reply.

Except, as she reached for a thorn, she got a good bite of tail as well. And she was not gentle about it, either.

Sweetheart made her apprenticeship miserable. With the rest of the Clan backing her, Addercrest was going to torment her for the rest of her life.
