Sunflare didn’t really know Rowanheart, truth be told. He was on all accounts a good warrior and a solid choice for deputy, but he wasn’t the most social of the clan’s youth and their paths rarely crossed. Now, hoping to change that, Sunflare brought the new deputy a mouse. “Congratulations,” he mewed. “May I share a meal with you? As a member of the council, I like to have an understanding of my colleagues.”

Rowanheart

ShadowClan | T1 Deputy | he/him

Life seemed impossibly busy after his promotion. He relished any down time he got. There was a brief moment of respite, when a senior warrior who he didn't know very well, Sunflare, approached him with a piece of prey in his jaws. "Is this for me?" Rowanheart purred gratefully, biting back his true thoughts: he didn't particularly like mice. Sunflare was gracious enough to offer him food, however, so he would eat it. "Thank you, Sunflare, I would be honored if you joined me."

He waited for the warrior to settle before he settled down beside him, curling his feathery tail around his haunches. "Is there anything you wanted to discuss with me in particular?"

why do you assume you’re the smartest in the room?; why do you always say what you believe?;
