A disheveled Lighttail approached her friend Stormwatcher in the camp clearing. “Hey, wanna hunt and talk?” she mewed. She didn’t wait for an answer before turning and heading for the entrance.

Stormwatcher gave a tired grunt as he heaved himself up to his paws. I guess that was more of a statement than a question he thought to himself with a sigh.

He gave a yawn and soon the big guy was moving along to catch up with his friend.

"Very well, since I am up might as well... what do you wanna chat on?" he asked blinking away the naptime from his eyes.

Lighttail shifted her gaze away, an all too familiar pit of unease settling in her belly. “I… My daughter confided in me that she heard you question StarClan’s benevolence. I… I know certain cats among the stars who I can’t believe would ever be cruel, but recent events do line up poorly. I guess I was wondering if you could explain your viewpoint? Oh, hold that thought. I’ll be right back.” She veered off into the brush after a mouse, leaving Stormwatcher with her words.
