A chill sets in the air as the medicine cats make their way towards Highstones. The leaves of the forests below them, once green, have begun to turn various shades of reds and oranges. Above the cats, the half moon rises, basking the territories in it's familiar glow. The stars shine bright tonight, welcoming the medicine cats once more.

Hollypaw was excited for tonight's meeting.
Wolfstar took him to Highstones for the medicine cat meeting - apparently medicine cats met here when the moon was half-full - so the ginger tom couldn't wait for what it would be like. I wonder how it will go. SkyClan didn't have a medicine cat in moons, right? Perhaps they'd be happy to see that SkyClan finally had a medicine cat again. Especially Hemlockfox, who was from SkyClan originally. Hollypaw hoped to meet him.

"We're early." The leader observed, whiskers twitching. She had hoped to catch sight of Hemlockfox while passing along Windclan's border, but had not. Must've been nice to get to leave later than Skyclan cats would have had to. Still, being early was almost a relief. There was something familiar to it, being so often early to gatherings as well, and the medicine cats would not be kept waiting by wondering whether or not Skyclan would show up. No longer would they be in the dark about what happened on the half-moon, and she was hopeful that Hemlockfox or one of the others would help train Hollypaw in the things she couldn't.
At the same time, it felt strange to be here on the half-moon. Wolfstar knew she was distinctly out of place as a leader attending this meeting, but she would not let Hollypaw go alone to meet the medicine cats for the first time, either. The fluffy tabby and white she-cat sat, tail curling over her paws, watching the path that she and her companion had just taken to reach.
