Wolfstar returned to camp with the sun high in the sky. She was still on lighter duties herself given her recent injuries, but a border patrol had been a nice walk, regardless of how tired she felt from it. She would take the afternoon to catch up with some of her clanmates, she'd decided. Glancing around camp, a familiar pelt caught the leader's attention.
"Sorrelmist, how are you?" Wolfstar offered her granddaughter a smile, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. Somehow in a matter of moons, Sorrelmist had become the sole one to remain of her littermates. Bubblebeam's recent departure still stung much more than she wanted to admit, and Wolfstar didn't know how Sorrelmist was taking it. All she knew was that she had to try and be there for what family she had left.
