A warm breeze, perhaps the last dredges of greenleaf, welcome the medicine cats as they converge on highstones from all corners of the forest. The air is dry tonight and, without a single cloud in the sky, the half moon shimmers down from above, its white glow glinting off of rocks and drops of dew. All was silent whilst the stars of Silverpelt twinkled overhead.

Hemlockfox approached highstones with a tired air to him tonight. He couldn't explain it, but he wasn't looking forward to talking to any of his fellow medicine cats tonight. Any night, typically, but even less so than usual. Frowning, he descended the stone tunnel towards the Moonstone without waiting for the others and sat down at the far end of the cave, tail curled neatly over his paws. He didn't want to wait in the cool, open air for them, but he supposed he could at least wait for the others to get here before he shared with StarClan. They might have important information to share. He chuckled inwardly at that and looked to the side, eyes narrowed. There was rarely anything of importance to talk about.

Mostly, he was here to see if there would be a representative from SkyClan, tonight. He was curious to see how things were going in his home clan now. It took everything in him not to abandon WindClan as is, but there was a particular cat keeping him around. Just thinking of the tom's fluffy brown pelt made Hemlockfox frown. He wasn't quite sure what it was about him, but he had to stick around at least long enough to figure out why he always got a weird feeling in his stomach when he was around.
