Another day, another hunting bout. Her, Willowwisp, and Oleanderpaw. Willowwisp, she could not recall the last time she had had a lengthy conversation with aside from pleasantries or giving her daily duties. Oleanderpaw... Rookflights apprentice, and her heart went out to him. So much loss for such a young cat that it made her heart clench. He seemed to be doing well from what she could see-- Well, within reason. Nobody could be perfect after it. But he kept moving.
A rustle in a bush, and so the hunt began. Lowered down, creeping forward, ears angled and always watching... And scrambling backwards at the exact same time a furious orange beak flashed out toward her. A pawstep too slow, and it thudded painfully onto her head. She let out a low hiss and swung her paw forward, snagging claws against feather and flesh.
Cindersky is attempting a catch... And got caught herself. Goose used Beaked Thrust, dealing 10 DMG and using 15 EP. Cindersky used Claw, dealing 12 DMG and using 5 EP!
