Hickorypaw was about to leave the entrance of camp when he spotted his younger sister behind him. A flick of the tail for her to follow and he was gone. He waited behind the first tree outside of camp for his sister ready to pounce at any given moment. Just then she walked out of camp. Hickorypaw sprang forward and tackled her to the ground!
“Wanna spar?” He mewed as he hopped off to the side of his sibling. She seemed to be the only one in his family, besides his grandma, who understood him. With Stoatclaw busy with his kits, Honeypaw found herself often tagging along with whatever one of her siblings happened to be doing. Hickorypaw was heading for the camp entrance, and so the young she-cat was quick to abandon her perch near the apprentice den and pad toward him. A flick of the tail beckoning her to follow, and Honeypaw eagerly did so without being told, ducking through the camp entrance.
Only to find her brother bowling into her once she was on the other side. "Hey!" She laughed, "You got me that time." Her brother let her up and she rolled back to her paws with a grin. Sparring? She had been training with Stoatclaw, but more practice wouldn't hurt, she knew. "Yes!" She mewed, widening her stance slightly as she gazed up at her brother, blue eyes sparkling.

A purr rumbled from Hickorypaw as he backed away in a defensive stance; he was confident in his fighting abilities although he honestly hadn’t been trained much on fighting. His eyes seemed to darken as they narrowed, and the tip of his tail ever so slightly swished behind him. His stance mirrored his sister’s, and he didn’t take long to make the first move.
Quickly Hickorypaw darted forward and bit Honeypaw’s front leg, making sure not to bite too hard. As quickly as he moved in, he was out again and back in a defensive stance. His ears were slightly pinned back to keep them safe from any blows his sister may decide to deal.
Hickorypaw used Bite on Honeypaw for -5HP and -5EP

Honeypaw had thought she was prepared for her brother to make the first move, but he was quicker than she'd thought. Teeth closed briefly around her leg before Hickorypaw pulled back, and with a mock growl, Honeypaw leapt for her brother, aiming to hook one of her legs around his and throw the tom off balance.

Hickorypaw stumbled back a few paces as his sister knocked him off balance, a slight growl rumbled from his throat. It had taken him longer than he liked to regain his balance and he lost his opportunity to attack back. His feathery tail swished behind him, and he prepared himself for the next blow.

Oh, her brother didn't like that move one bit. Honeypaw flashed him a grin, swiping at him with a carefully-sheathed paw while he struggled to regain his balance.

A pout formed on Hickorypaw’s face but was quickly replaced with a frown and pinned ears when his sister swiped at him. ‘What a cheap shot! Couldn’t even let me regain my balance first!’ He huffed to himself. The young tom dropped down into a low crouch and let a growl out. He couldn’t let his sister beat him, what kind of tom would he be if he lost a fight to his sister?
There was a loud noise off in the distance and Hickorypaw decided that was the time to strike; in hopes that his sister would be distracted just slightly by the noise. He sprang forward and sank his teeth into her scruff, while knocking her off balance. He was mindful not to put too much pressure on her scruff with his teeth as he still didn’t want to hurt her. She was his sister after all.
Hickorypaw used Bite and Hold for -6HP and -15EP. Honeypaw is held (?) for 1 turn can only use Smack or Claw

In response, Honeypaw smirked at her brother... Only to break off into a curse as he barreled into her and caught hold of her scruff. Twisting as much as she could, the tortoiseshell and white apprentice swiped at him with a paw. "Let go of me! That was rude!" She huffed out a laugh.

Hickorypaw let out a nervous chuckle as his sister broke out of his hold. She barely seemed tired, and he was exhausted. He quickly darted forward with a flick of his tail and scratched at her belly. Once again, he was mindful not to hurt her too bad.
He rolled out to her side and remained laying down in the soft dirt. Hickorypaw was tired and the summer heat was not helping at all. He lay with his feet kicked out from underneath him and his eyes closed. “I think.. We should make our way down to the stream… and lay in that cool mud. Whatcha say sister?” He panted before fully flopping on his side.
Hickorypaw successfully used Belly Rake on Honeypaw for -10 HP and -10 EP
