Tall Tall Mountain

(References with the npc Owlhoots name to the title topic's name and I made this section to explain why there is only 2 of them out)

As the days grew warmer in the summer heat the best shelter from the baking sun seemed to sometimes be in the shade of the pine forest. Luckily that is where their patrol was headed - it was originally going to be herself Owlhoot and Fernpaw but apperently during the night Owlhoot had their sleep interrupted by a bad dream of a twoleg capturing them - so they were missing from this patrol.

Swiftheart was waiting near the camp entrence for the apprentice to show up. She remembered him vaguely from when they got to play together the first time her very good friend Pine.

She had worried maybe that she overwhelmed him at first - it was not often that a full grown and experienced senior warrior like herself would play with kits but that was just the thing. Despite being one of the clans best fighters she still had an energy that could only be described as kit-like and a longing for play that had never left her.

She rolled around over onto her back and began tossing up a moss ball into the air then catching it with her four paws and nibbling on it as she waited for her companion.

She heard pawsteps approaching and she rolled over quickly back to her paws and sprung up in one fluid graceful motion.

"OH yayyyyy you are hereeee" she purred happily and almost sing-songily

She purred happily to see him.

"my oh my! You have grown so much since last I saw you, kits grow up so fast now. You are like a tall tall mountain compared to last I saw.
