Tallpaw's Border Patrol

Deadfrost poked his head into the apprentices' den. "Tallpaw?" he whispered.

Tallpaw sat up. "Yes Deadfrost?"

Deadfrost smiled. "We're going on a border patrol, so you can be a warrior," he replied happily. "Follow me." He turned and began padding out of camp. She should have been a warrior a long time ago...

Tallpaw got up and followd Deadfrost to the Camp Entrance. "Ok, so were are we going to patrol?"

Deadfrost's whiskers twitched. "Anywhere you like. Where would you like to go: The ShadowClan border, the WindClan border..or the Thunderpath?" he asked. "The RiverClan border is a bad idea, we have some..issues with them."

Tallpaw thought for a moment. "Hmm i actually wonted to do the River Clan border first to find if Hawk might be there but you said its ot a good idea so lets do the Thunder Path!"

"Great," he replied. He trotted through a line of bushes, and hopped over a rabbit hole. "Watch out for that!" he called.

Tallpaw hoped over the rabbit hole. "Dont worry im fine." she padded after the warrior.

Deadfrost soon began to smell the rank stench of the Thunderpath, and he pushed into the clearing. He stood before the oily path, and a monster roared past him, hot, musky air blasting his face and buffeting his pelt. He wrinkled his nose.

Tallpaw smelled the awful reek of the thunder path. "Eww that's so disgusting, and such an awful smell!!" She stayed close to her mentor but also kept her distance from the horrifying monsters flying infront of her eyes.

Deadfrost nodded. "A few things to know about it. If you are to cross it for some reason, stay at the very edge of it. Wait until a monster passes, then, check if there are more, and run as fast as you can across. Never stop while your on it." He paused as another monster roared by. "I'm not going to demonstrate, but I think that was clear. Any questions?" he asked.

"No, no qestions. But who would wont to cross that anyway."

Deadfrost thought for a moment. "Well, for example, someone who needs to get to WindClan or ShadowClan territory."He stretched, and stood up. "We don't have to mark the border here, the Thunderpath is enough of a border. Now, let's go back to camp." He smiled. "Your warrior ceremony should be any day now."
