"I'm excited to try hunting, I want to be good at it." Briarpaw replied, taking her mentor's light paw in stride. She attempted to do the same in return. Of course, Larkshine had the experience, but if she kept practicing she would improve, right? Judging when to strike and if her paw would connect as her mentor moving was... A little more difficult than she thought it would be. But she thought she would get the hang of it.

A small purr rattled in Larkshine’s chest as she swiftly lunged towards her apprentice, and gently pushed her into the dirt. “We’ll call this good for today and practice here again soon, ok?” She chirped softly. Her foot was planted firmly on the young molly’s shoulder, so she quickly removed it.
Larkshine nudged Briarpaw up to her feet and flicked her tail across the calico’s back. “How about we go back to camp and get some food?”
Larkshine used Leap and Hold on Briarpaw and was successful!
