Padding next to Aurburnrain, the two warriors had been assigned a patrol together. The she-cat was interesting to say the least, but Molehill didn't mind her company. He didn't really mind anyone's company, as long as they fulfilled their duties assigned to them. Rapidfire was a diligent deputy and had already been making sure every warrior was contributing to the clan in some way, which meant making sure cats were spending their time wisely on patrols and the plump warrior appreciated how quickly she'd gotten used to her new role.

Auburnrain was bored. She plodded through the territory, hardly noticing what was going on around her. Her blue eyes flicked to her companion... a cat far too happy and care free for his own good. She would have growled, if she still had her voice. The swelling in her throat had gone down considerably, but her speech had never returned. It wasn't fair.

With a flash of anger, she spun on Molehill. She tapped him furiously with a forepaw, making absolutely sure she had his attention. "I want to spar." She mouthed the words, her tail lashing furiously behind her. Forget hunting. It wasn't as important as letting loose all of her pent up rage.
