Sunlight flooded in through the roof of the den, the sun standing proud in the sky. Smokeykit was curled up in one particularly nice spot of sun, purring softly at the warmth on his pelt as he sunbathed. It was a lazy day - StarClan knew where most of his family was. No, it was just him and Webkit in the den.
Ugh. Webkit. He would give his life for her without hesitation, of course, but that didn't mean she wasn't a total mousebrain. He glanced over her, blue eyes flashing with annoyance. She was just kinda...laying there. With not a thought in her head. The brotherly urge to pick on her was much too strong. And he was bored, and it seemed like such good fun... "Hey, Web," Smokeykit called over to her, whiskers twitching. He stood, shaking out his fur. "I betcha can't climb to the top of the den!" He enticed, already imagining how funny it would be if she got stuck on the roof. Especially if the whole Clan saw!

Initially Webkit didn't react to the sound of her brother's voice, still fixatedly staring at some seemingly very interesting stray clump of moss laying on the floor of the den. There was a long, long stretch of silent stillness from her before her head slowly tilted back and she stared at the tightly woven brambles shading the nursery. After absorbing it for a moment, tail twitching ever so slightly, she turned her flat eyed stare onto her brother with an expression that read quite plainly something along the lines of 'aaand how exactly do you expect me to do that?'

Smokeykit blinked back at his sister and sighed at her lack of response. StarClan, was she even awake? Was she deaf? His tail twitched irritably as she looked at him questioningly. "You...you just climb. It's easy. You...can climb, can't you?" He answered plainly in return, ears briefly flicking to the sides. Smokeykit wasn't sure what part confused her. Maybe she can't climb. What kind of cat can't climb?
He huffed, standing up and shaking any stray moss off of him. He'd have to demonstrate. "Here. I'll show you." The grey fluff began to pad toward the nursery's exit, then stopped and turned. She wasn't following him. "C'mon, follow me." Smokeykit meowed, perhaps a bit impatiently. Then he ducked out of the den and stopped at the entrance, examining the nursery for the best way to the top.
