For just a brief moment the camp seemed quiet, almost peaceful. With another day came another ceremony, and Wolfstar was happy to see the clan continue to grow despite the seeming endless chaos. She'd had to think a bit on who to choose as a mentor, but now that the choice was settled she leaped to the tallbranch with ease.
"Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the tallbranch for a clan meeting!"
no one realizes how fast time goes, until time ends
"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all."
Harrierkit lifted his eager head, green eyes peering curiously towards the familiar call of announcement for a clan meeting. He grinned, all toothy but no longer as kit-like as he was childishly before, and hurried over to sit with the crowd. Maybe, just maybe, it would finally be my own ceremony!

"Harrierkit, step forward." As before, there was warmth in the leader's voice when she called for her grandkit. They were all growing fast.
"You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time you become an apprentice. From now until you earn your warrior name, you shall be known as Harrierpaw." She began, "Your mentor... Will be Sunfire." The tom hadn't caused further trouble, and Wolfstar was inclined to give at least some of the kits to close family. Sunfire was not a particularly popular cat in the clan, but nobody could deny his dedication to keeping Skyclan or his family safe. And perhaps she could work to bridge that gap between him and his clanmates with this.
