Larkspring
Larkspring peered into the river, watching the fish swim around. Willowwisp was near him and some other cats too. He was just focused on grabbing fish. It was nice to actually be somewhere where he could fish and it was easy. No lake, no winter, no predators around every corner—he hoped. Just gathering enough fish that his clan could fatten up properly.
He spotted some scales and his paw lashed out to grab it. His movement was a little clumsy and the fish nearly slipped out of his paw, but he managed to scoop it onto the sand and hold it down until it stopped flopping. He huffed and his ear twitched irritably.
Willowwisp’s tail shifted back and forth on the sands behind her. Perhaps if she could catch a fish for her mother, that would help ease some of her stresses…She hoped that Perchstar would at least eat. Her mother seemed to avoid meals when she got too stressed, as Willowwisp had noticed.
She saw Larkspring lash out at a fish and she watched carefully for any that escaped from the attack. Another fish glittered at the surface and she grabbed for it too. She moved more fluidly than him and snagged her fish with ease. She deposited hers beside her and looed over at Larkspring. He seemed irritated despite getting his own catch, so she let her gaze drift past him and she looked at the other cats that had joined them on the hunting patrol.

"You gotta dance, dance, dance while you cry."
Pigeonpounce T1 Warrior | RiverClan | she/her
It was Pigeonpounce's first patrol as a warrior, and she could hardly keep from shaking out of her fur with excitement. The persistent nerves that lingered with her since the start of the great journey were still in her paws, sure, but it was easier to ignore them right now. It'd finally, properly clicked in her head that she was a real warrior. And that was a good thing! It was worth being happy about, and when she felt it, Pigeonpounce had absolutely no problem reveling in her own joy.
Settling by the water, Pigeonpounce watched her older companions each pull fish out of the water like it was nothing. For some reason, she sort of assumed Larkspring would be a bad hunter, scaring half the fish away with his constant scowl or something; and he was clumsier than Willowwisp, but he still caught one. Pigeonpounce stuck her tongue out playfully at him before looking to the darting shadows. Hopefully she didn't make a fool of herself with him huffing nearby. She'd never been the best with water, whether sitting by it or being in it. Her tongue curled out around her lip in concentration, and Pigeonpounce watched the water with trembling limbs until a paw struck out. Her paws curled under her targets gills and she pulled it to the shore with ease, nipping its neck before it could even start flopping. "Ha!" She exclaimed with a throaty purr and a big, big grin turned toward Larkspring and Willowwisp.
Pigeonpounce attempted to catch a fish... attempt successful! -3 SP.
