Prologue
The starlight glittered over the pond as a small ginger cat with a gray tail tip crouched over the water, swishing her tail back and forth. Another gray cat with a black tail tip leapt across the stepping stones towards her. Maplestar looked up, and dashed towards him. "Blackstream!!" she called.
He bounded towards her, and the two cats entwined. "Are you ready to go??" he asked. "To the Mooncave??"
"Yes," she meowed certainly. "I must speak with StarClan."
"And why," he asked, "Must I come too??"
"Because, this concerns you too." she replied, heading towards the cave.
They entered, and laid down side-by-side. Maplestar woke in a clearing. Many cats were filing in around her and Blackstream, who had just woken up. She rose to her paws. "Greetings." she mewed to the first cat, who was her mother, Stormleaf. She looked at Maplestar, and sighed. "We know why you have come, Maplestar. And we cannot help you." Stormleaf mewed. "This evil that shrouds the forest in darkness cannot be controlled by StarClan. If we could, it would never had reached you here." Maplestar sighed. "Can anything help us???" she mewed with despair.
The cats all joined together in a group, and said in one voice;
"From two will come four,
and these four will come forth
to face this evil that shakes our forest to the ground,
and one shall rise above the rest,
so this shall be..."
After this was stated, the cats of StarClan faded, along with the clearing, and Maplestar and Blackstream were again alone in the Mooncave, staring at each other.
"From two will come four..." Blackstream murmured, glancing at his mate.
"And one will rise above the others." Maplestar mewed. "If this will be, so it must. I just wish it could happen sooner..." she whispered. "Well, I must go. Good luck," she purred, racing away from her mate, towards MapleClan territory. Blackstream sighed, and began to make his way back to ColdClan territory.
Cheesy prophecy is cheesy!!! XD Oh, well.....
