Scorchlight had led her apprentice out of camp again, but this time for a different reason. It was just the break of dawn, so they had plenty of time to spar. "Remember, no claws," she meowed to her apprentice, not turning to face him. They arrived at a spot fairly clear of rivers and streams. She halted and turned around determinedly to her apprentice, Troutpaw. "You get the first move," she meowed to Troutpaw, waiting for him to take action.
