A valentines special! (C)

Scorchlight had just woken up and exited the warrior den, yawning. The journey really took a toll on her, but now she was healed and everything was alright, except the tensions between RiverClan and SkyClan that she wouldn’t ever worry about. She could just smile it off as if it was nothing, but the rest of the clan seemed to fret about it. Even Sprucebark looked a little worried, so she decided she should get something for him. She picked a water vole from the pile and padded back to the warrior den, nudging Sprucebark with a paw. "Wakey wakey!" she meowed, dropping the water vole and pushing it towards him.

Sprucebark couldn't imagine a better way to be awoken than the nudge of his mate and the nice smell of a breakfast meal. Waking slowly with a stretch he gave her a purr and nod of his head as he sat up slowly. "Happy Valentine's Day!" he meowed sleepily still blinking the sleep away.

The journey for him had not been the easiest, however Scorchlight had helped him so much during it, her energy and her positive spirit made everything seem okay. Even now, with war on the possiblity he did not fret that much when she was here. He was so much calmer now than he had ever been his whole life. Prior to this, he was always fretting over this and that in a time and orderly schedule... and while, he still was orderly he was much more relaxed now thanks to her.

He munched at the gift of the meal she had brought to him "thank you" he meowed nuzzling at her a little, "wanna walk together after breakfast?"
