Tallshadow bounded over the rise, scattering snow as he nimbly hopped up over the rocky ledge and into the relatively flat clearing that WindClan had bedded down in the night previous. The subtle dawn light cast his feathery tabby pelt in a soft glow, deepening the lines and shadows of his slender features as the warrior padded into their temporary camp proper. A stringy crow was hanging from his jaws, and he deposited the sleek black creature into the half-frozen freshkill pile. Something warm for one of the warriors coming back from scouting the way ahead.

The tall tabby looked up, doing a quick once over of their surroundings, but the camp was still and quiet in the morning haze. Except for a small figure haloed by the pink stretch of the sky, curled ears unmistakable even from a distance. Tallshadow stepped easily over the snow, it wasn't as deep where they had made camp, pressed down by the tread of many sets of paws. “Getting an early start on apprentice duties little sister?” He asked, blinking a greeting to Crakepaw.
