Rapidkit looked out at the snowy landscape, luckily the clans were resting for now but all this walking had exhausted her. Her siblings Crake and Heather did not like to be carried but she certainly did not mind it in the slightest.

She wearily dragged herself over to her mum and nuzzled insistently at Fennelbreeze's legs and pawed ever so gently at her mum.

"I'm so tired mommy" she meowed quietly doing her best to not sound too complain-y but it was really hard not to sound complain-y when her paws were this sore and tired and cold.

She shivered a little and kept pawing at her mum not sure who else to really tell or rely on. Dad always seemed so busy and the rest of her siblings... well they all seemed so much stronger than herself and while she loved all her siblings she felt a bit left behind sometimes when it came to this long trip.

"I'm tired of walking why do we gotta go back to some more lands" she asked looking up at Fennelbreeze. She didn't even know what more lands were and mispronounced it as well instead of moor... but she had heard warriors talk about them.

The only home she knew had been on the move constantly and it was hard to understand 'going home' when this was the only life or home she knew.

"I just wanna stay here with you"

The little furball who looked very similar to her mum brushed gently against Fennel's side wanting to have comfort by her mum's side. Her siblings crake and heather seemed to find comfort in their spar games and Stoat and Fidget seemed to find comfort in the thinking and sometimes even overthinking of things and questions... she found comfort in her parents soft pelts or when they all finally would share a nest at the end of a long day.

Fennelbreeze, cozily nestled inside her moss bed—lifted her head at the familiar, soft 'meow' of one of her kits. "Rapidkit," She smiled, her gaze softening as she welcomed her daughter into her nest with a comforting purr. Fluffy, feathery tail raised to curl snuggly around the tiny kit's body, chuckling at her innocent question.

"There is a home waiting back for us at the Forest, dear. One much more free and all to our own, safe and familiar. The moors there are wide and flowers will bloom. This?" She glanced around at the snowy landscape, nudging her kit with a gentle smile. "Is only temporary. Sootstorm, your siblings, and I will help support you along the journey. You're not alone." She chuckled. "Mmhm. I know," She cooed lovingly. "I want the same, too. But I promise you—back at home, when New-leaf returns? It's so much better and warmer than here."

Rapidkit curled up tight into her mum's side and nodded with a quiet purr. She watched the snow drift around outside their nest as Fennelbreeze explained what their home was like. A land filled with flowers?! This was gonna be the coolest place ever she imagined. She looked at her mum's matching pelt "We will make matching flower crowns when we get home right mum? your promise?" she asked with wide-eyes pleading.
