Honeypaw

Honeypaw couldn't believe her eyes. After her encounter in the tree last night with Brackenpaw, it seemed like her worst nightmare had come back to haunt her. Not another one! She struggled wildly to escape its grasping talons. Mistflower barrelled into the great bird, pinning it to the ground with a vicious snarl. Her wounds from the last owl still ached, and now she had to deal with new ones, too. The scent of blood filled her nostrils and her mind reeled in response.

With a mixture of terror and fury, Honeypaw leaped at the owl with a loud yowl, striking out with unsheathed claws at its eyes and following up with a fury of paw strikes, ripping feathers away from it with each blow.
