No time to smell the roses! [Open]

"And where do you think you are going?" came a voice not far from Stormkit as Badgermask peered from the shadows. The calico she-cat had been alerted to the kit's presence with her boastfulness cry and had been quietly tracking her progress from where Badgermask had been relaxing in the shadows of the nearby dens. But once it was obvious where Stormkit was heading, the warrior felt the need to step in - after all, the territory was dangerous to even a full grown warrior if they didn't watch to put their paws.

But while Badgermask's gaze was neutral, there was an unexpected lightness to her tone - there was something about kits she found...Appealing even if she had no plan to ever have her own. They were straightforward, honest - well she wouldn't be surprised if Stormkit was about to lie to her - but it was never a malice lie. They could be trusted and it put her at ease as she tilted her head, a small smile starting to curl on her muzzle as she waited for an answer.

Badgermask watched amused as the kit froze in place, clearly thinking over her options before she turned and strutted towards the warrior with a confidence that Badgermask could only have wished to had as a kit herself. She raised an eyebrow as the kit plopped into a sitting position, before a snort at the surprising honestly that Stormkit gave her. A refreshing change of pace, to be certain. "Cute - I appreciate the honesty - but I'm afraid that isn't happening."

She pushed herself to her paws, towering over the kit before she leaned down with a grin, showing off her long fangs. "The territory is a dangerous place. Mud pits so deep to drown fully grown cats and predators so big that they could just snap you up in a bite," she purred, eyes glimmering before she titled her head. If Stormkit was bored, then she could entertain them - it was better company than nearly any other cat in ShadowClan. So, she was willing to put on a show - if anything to also distracted herself from the hunger that rumbled within her belly. "But I'm sure a brave warrior like you could handle anything thrown at you, huh?"

Badgermask smirked as the kit's confident seemed to dwindle for a second but her jab had the desired effect of rekindling it quickly. Stormkit wasted no time in proclaiming that she could handle both of the threats - even snapping her jaws for an added effect. However, the kit's energy soon faded with the apprentice remark and realizing how far away it would be.

A laugh escaped the warrior however as the kit finally asked her for her name, giving her a smirk. "My name is Badgermask. And seeing how my name is the same of one of those dreadful predators..." She raised a paw - quickly swiping it into Stormkit to gently knock the small kit over. Using the moment as an opening, she leapt over the kit and into the camp clearing proper before she spun - dropping into a crouch. "Why wait until you are an apprentice to show me what you can do?" she questioned, tail lashing.

If Stormkit thought the camp was so boring then the only thing left to do was to play - or practice fight in this case. Stormkit wanted to be an apprentice so badly? Well, Badgermask was more than content to let the kit get some swipes in at her and spend that energy. "Come on, little Stormkit - blow me away."

Blackkit's paws brushed against the leaves of fall that filled camp, the kit had just woken up from his nap and he decided to go out into the clearing to see how the warriors were doing.
Entertainment was scarce in the nursery so the mackerel-marked kit hoped to find some fun elsewhere.

As he squeezed his way out of the nursery entranced and into camp, a chilly breeze going through as a sign that leaf-bare was getting close, making Blackkit shiver as it made contact due to his short fur.

He walked over to a small boulder just near the camp's exit before laying down on it, tucking his paws safely under his chest so they wouldn't get cold as more of the wind came blowing through. And that's when he noticed the other black kit attempting to sneak out, his ears perking up in curiousness as he tried to make sense of what she was doing. 'Sneaking...? What kind of kit would be stupid enough to do that?' the kit thought in disgust, thinking about breaking his loyalty to the clan like that made his stomach turn in anger and irritation but yet, why would he be worrying about that? Even tho he's a bit older than the kits, he still was a kit.

The small tom's attention quickly turned towards the warrior who had spotted her. The conversation they were having made his eyes spark with interest and intrigue before he heard it.
"Come on, little Stormkit - blow me away."

'Was the warrior really letting her strike him? Pfft- I highly doubt she will even do a little scratch'
Blackkit got up from the boulder and stretched, his limbs taking turns extending themselves before leaping down and getting closer to the cats, sitting just aside them as thoughts raced through his mind, thinking what 'attack' the other kit might do
