| The thin tom crouched beneath the dead grass, tail still and eyes narrowed. His eyes were on his target as he attempted to silently weave closer. With its back towards him, the wind to his face, and his lean body... This should be easy. He neared and stopped... The prey was still unaware. Shifting his weight to his back paws, Kestrelchirp prepared to jump and with a rustle of the grass, his jump landed behind the prey silently. Lashing out with sheathed paws, he bopped the she-cat on the back.
"Tag. You're it." Kestrelchirp said to Nectarflower in his smooth, honey-sweet voice. Crouching and waiting for the next blow, Kestrelchirp studied the she-cat with careful eyes. They were here to spar and keep up their skills - but they could have fun doing it. ______________________________________ Astra inclinant... .: Coyotegrin :: Kestrelchirp :: Quailprowler : Waspswarm : Burnetpaw :. #9966ff : #cc3300 : #6699ff : #993366 : #ff9900 : #ff66cc WC T5 Warrior : WC T4 Warrior : TC T4 Warrior : SkC T2 Warrior (Bonus) : RC App "When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire." |

| Nectarflower Gender: Female Rank: T4 Warrior
Nectarflower spun around in the tall, yellow grass, her eyes roving the nearby plains for her opponent. She scuffed a paw uncertainly in the dirt, her nose twitching as she tried to pinpoint the tom’s location. They’d come out here to practice and hone their battle skills, but where, exactly, had Kestrelchirp gone? Was he trying to ambush her or had something else more exciting caught his attention?
Humming thoughtfully, Nectarflower turned to face the wind, tail swaying calmly as the cool breeze fluttered through her fur. Stars, she hoped he was okay. As the concern wormed its way into her mind, pressure on her spine drew her from the quickly growing fear and she yelped, dancing away from the unknown contact.
As she turned to face the threat, eyes narrowed, Nectarflower came face to face with none other than Kestrelchirp himself. Slowly, a smile grew on her face, all tension from before leaving her body. "You scared me Kestrelchirp!" She announced with a purr. Eyes bright and playful, the tortoiseshell she-cat lunged toward her friend and batted his shoulder before quickly ducking away. Two could play at that game!
Given the poor condition of the moor, she had grown rather thin, especially in the past moon, but it hardly showed in the way she acted. Though the hunger seemed to grow every day and her body grew wearier, she tried to remain hopeful that things would begin to look up for Windclan. And, well, with Kestrelchrip to keep her distracted, it was easy for a smile to spread across on her face.
