Scorchpaw wasn't even aware she crossed the border. She didn't see any border patrols, nor were there any signs to remind her of her turf and ThunderClan.

The endless trudge for food just seemed eternal. She slowly trotted past Sunningrocks and scented squirrel. It wasn't usual to find prey around RiverClan, but prey was prey. She dropped into her hunting crouch, staying downwind before bouncing into the air. It was fresh, with no scent of the river's poison. Weird, never mind. She also saw a lot more trees, but it didn't matter. Prey was prey, and the clan was starving. She twitched her ears, hoping she caught the squirrel's scent. It was a lot different. She was in ThunderClan! She didn't catch the squirrel, nor did any cat find her quickly. She leaped back to sunningrocks and passed through the stream towards camp.
