Shellkit's 1st Topic

A little ball of fuzz teetered out from the nursery with undue confidence. His grey and white fur stuck up in odd places as his hazel eyes looked around for an unwilling victim to befriend, "Hello!"

This is Shellkit. He is 4 moons old and almost big enough to be an apprentice. Come join him and say hi!

Flysnap had made it a habit to visit the nursery often to check on the new kits. The huge litters of kits that had previously flooded the nursery seemed to finally thin out, which was fortunate considering the lack of prey recently. The dark ginger tabby looked down as a friendly voice called out in greeting. A handsome grey-and-white tom-kit was looking up at him with warm eyes.

"Hey kid! What ya doing?" Flysnap purred, crouching down before the kit with a playful smile. Maybe he would like to play mossball or something.

Omg I am so sorry! I had a lot of schoolwork this week. Thank you for responding.

Stumbling up to the ginger warrior, Shellkit looked up with determined eyes, "I am looking for the warriors den. I think I am almost ready to be a warrior. Like you!" Their size difference was obvious, but it was clear that Shellkit thought he was a much bigger cat than he was.

Flysnap couldn't hide his amusement from the kit's answer. "It'll be some time before you can move to the warrior's den, but I bet you'll become an apprentice any day now. Who knows, I may even become your mentor," He mewed, flicking the tom's ear playfully. "What's your name, anyway? I don't think you mentioned it."

"If you're going to be my mentor, we can start training right now!" Shellkit crouched and wiggled his haunches. His head tipped sideways at the second question, "I'm Shellkit of course!"

Flysnap grinned. "Very eager, I see!" He commented, then crouched down as well, "Let's see your moves! I'm a big, scary ShadowClan warrior, and you're a brave ThunderClan warrior! What do you do?"
