Duskpaw’s body threatened to collapse into another bout of illness, but WindClan had to eat and there were so few cats to do the hunting. She’d asked the nearest warrior, a tortie tom she didn’t really know, to go with her on a hunting trip. Duskpaw had a way about her of being just too sweet and hopeful to ignore and so here they were, searching the moor for any signs of life.

Note: Duskpaw has disabled stats.

Eaglefly agreed to go on a hunt with the apprentice. He didn't know her but this would be a good chance to.

And with the fresh kill pile always being so low it was probably a good idea anyways.

He gave a friendly smile to her as they began.  He was not shy but for right now just did not have much to say.


He scanned the moor carefully with squinty eyes as he tried to find any rabbits.  They should be careful, twoleg activity had been reported out here.

Duskpaw flashed Eaglefly an only slightly weaker version of her usual grin. Her ears stood pricked, alert, as she listened for any sound.

Rabbit. Time to go. She dropped into a crouch, form not perfect but decent, and began to approach the rabbit.

A loud, unnatural clang sounded and the rabbit bolted for cover. Duskpaw tried to follow but to no avail. Her prey was long gone.
