| Poppycloud felt his pelt bristle as he padded towards the apprentice den. Stars, he didn't expect to be a mentor so soon. Honestly, he felt like he was the last cat to teach someone. He was more like a learner than a teacher, and there was the pressure of not messing up his apprentice's training.
Nervously pushing into the den, the young tom noticed his apprentice, Moonpaw, sleeping in her nest. "Um, Moonpaw?" he said, tapping her shoulder. "It's time to go." He planned to teach her hunting today, or at least attempt to. He wasn't a bad hunter by any means, so it would at least go better than fighting training.
