"Rule #1 is that you've gotta have fun!"

She snickered, “Ya know what, I’m a huge rebel!” Rosepaw proudly cocked her chin up and waved her tail to the sky. “I’ve ditched tons of my lessons with Nightdancer, while still being super duper skilled! Isn’t that impressive Curly? Isn't that cool?” she meowed before spotting a frog to catch. She missed, and that bothered her of course, but she learned that if she complained about it she’d be admitting weakness. Obviously, Rosepaw was not weak.

The mink molly turned back to Curlyfluff with a grin. “Hey! Wanna team up and get this frog?” she asked cheerfully while bouncing. He was a great helper, that was one of the things that made him her favorite cat. Rosepaw did not have many friends, but he was still the best one she had. And truthfully... she’d grown tired of bossing him around, despite how easy it was. Plus it'd be a crime to make that cute face sad or worried! And since she was so gracious, she even listened to him when he said no! Well, most of the time, at least. Rosepaw softened her face and fluttered her honey-amber eyes. “Pleeeeeaase?”

"It sure is," Curlyfluff mewed, his tone of voice tinted with the slightest bit of worry.

Following Rosepaw's paw steps, the lavender tom couldn't help but become a bit nervous as they approached the Stony Hollow. Technically speaking... the apprentice wasn't allowed here due to the many unknowns the area produced, but he hadn't been able to get a word in edgewise about it earlier. Of course, she was just as peppy as usual, not seeming to have a care in the world, and watching as she attempted to catch a frog that hopped along the wrong path he couldn't help but smile and purr in delight. Having been getting over an illness recently, being cooped up in camp was no fun and the warrior's heart leapt with joy at the thought of him and his friends being able to hang out again.

Meeting her ever-so bewitching gaze, he rolled his amber eyes in a sassy sort of manner. How could he ever say no to her? Of all of his warrior duties, it was something he wondered if he'd ever be able to truly get down. "I'm surprised even you couldn't catch it. You know... with all of those amazing skills you've been learning while skipping lessons," he mewed, poking fun at her prior comment and pushing any of his past worries to the back of his mind. "Guess I'll have to show you how a real warrior hunts," he growled lightheartedly. He truly never meant any harm with his words, but he certainly wasn't about to let Rosepaw get away with not training like everyone else did, and if that meant ruffling some tufts of fur to get her to not slack, then so be it.

Bunching up his haunches, the fluffy warrior waited a moment before bounding forward. Landing squarely onto the frog, he grabbed it with his teeth and with a swift 'crunch,' it was freshkill. "Tada!" he purred, his words muffled by the prey in his mouth as he jumped around to face the apprentice.

Curlyfluff attempted to catch a frog and was... successful!
