| Sleet had come far these past few moons. Her domestic cat tongue was nearly perfectly fluent. She had proven her worth as a hunter and fighter for Thunderclan too. She had yet to go to a gathering, as she had been nervous to go, but this time she vowed she would. Sleet sunned herself on a rock in camp, having returned from a hunting patrol not long ago. She wasn't napping. She couldn't. The sun was warm and the clan seemed calm for now, but her mind was too busy thinking about how else she could be useful. Not to mention a certain Thunderclan tom had caught her eye... Alas, she didn't dare dream anything would come of it. She was a Geoffrey's Cat, not that she really understood, but she at least understood that she wasn't like the natives here. | Thrushnose "You're on your own, kid. You've always had been." "You come away with a great little story of a mess of a dreamer with the nerve to adore you." Thrushnose had been resting in camp, his head resting comfortably on top of his paws in the silent watch of his clanmates. For most of them, Thunderclan's camp was a comfortable home they could return to any time, and he could only hope he could make the place welcoming for any of the fellow cats, acquaintances or not.
Noticing Sleet, one of the feral felines they've found by the borders several moons back, the tom rose to his paws. It surprised him, by the fact itself, that he'd not gotten to interact with these guests that everyone had brought so familiar with before. Perhaps it was the recent events that struck him hard, and that he'd forgotten—but now, he wasn't going to let this opportunity to waste.
With a smile, Thrushnose padded over to the fresh-kill pile and picked out two pieces of fresh prey for them, trotting up to sit by the larger cat. "Hey there. Do you mind if I join you?" He gave out a short purr, nudging one of the prey over to Sleet. "My name is Thrushnose. You must be... Sleet? Did I get it right?" He chuckled. ft. Taylor Swift In
