Littleflower was sitting at the camp entrance, looking up at the stars that were slowely appearing. She was assigned to do night guard with whin which she didnt mind at all. She loved having the tom's company, especially at night. As Littleflower looked up, she recalled one of the many thoughts that plauged her. Why did she get struck? She and whin were nowhere near the rock but starclan still hit the two with lightning. Just then she heard a rustle and looked to see whin coming towards her. "Hello, nice night." she mewed before going back to looking up.

Whinchatpaw padded to the camp entrance with something more than just excitement budding in his chest. The tom was practically alight with joy, so much that he didn't even notice his scarred leg lagging behind. Basked in moonlight and starshine, the white-furred molly sat there looking at the stars.
The tom stared at his friend, maw slightly open in awe. After a few heartbeats, she noticed him and he stammered to explain himself.

Littleflower blushed and gave him a shy smile. "T-thank you... Your very pretty too..." she mewed not knowing how to respond to his compliment. It made her head and heart explode with a lot of new emotions she had never felt before. It just felt different and really good when it was him who called her pretty.

Whinchatpaw mustered up all his strength in trying not to crumble under Littleflower's returned compliment. How was he supposed to respond to that?! It felt as though someone had set fire to his pelt once again. Why was he feeling so ashamed? No, ashamed wasn't the word. Whenever he was alone with the she-cat, he seemed to lose all his bearings.
In a scrambling attempt to get a hold of himself, the grey and russet-furred tom returned to the task at hand. Tonight, it would be their job to keep the clan safe. A duty not to be taken lightly. Keeping watch would require all his focus; there wasn't time to worry about when he'd last groomed his pelt and what Flower thought of him.

Littleflower watched as his face showed many emotions at once and smirked, getting a fun idea. SHe got up to sit closer to him and then started to gently groom his short fur, careful of not doing his scar.

Whinchatpaw's breath hitched in his throat and the tom stiffened when Littleflower started to groom him. Slowly, the tension eased from his form. Keeping one eye out for danger, he cuddled against the she-cat and smiled. It felt like there were butterflies fluttering in his stomach, happiness pouring out of his heart. Littleflower finished grooming his short fur and looked back up to the sky. "I wonder if they are watching me." she mewed softly to no one in particular. Of course Littleflower had little to no memories of her biological parents but still wondered what her life would have been like if they didnt die. Would she have ever known how good of a mother silverwing was? would she even have met whin? She looked at him with a quick glance, happy to have met him.
