Ambersun smiled as Crookedlight brushed past her. "Not much," she replied. "Just grooming extra thoroughly for you, darling." Honestly, she wasn't doing anything different, so she assumed it was just the sunlight hitting her pelt just right. But that wasn't very fun to say, so Ambersun embellished to flirt back.

At first, Ambersun had wondered if she and Crookedlight would ever become mates. She found the idea very appealing, but as she learned more about Crookedlight, she felt like he didn't see them like that. Which was fine. Noticing a bird perched at the treetops, the young she-cat launched herself at it. The bird tried to fly away, but Ambersun caught one of its wings, before biting at its neck to kill it. Smirking, the young she-cat jumped down to bury it, before returning to the treetops and Crookedlight.

Ambersun attempted to catch a bird, costing 3 stamina. Hunt was a success!

Ambersun watched as Crookedlight scurried up the tree to try and catch a squirrel, before landing gracefully on his feet. "Nice catch!" she said at the same time as Crookedlight's comment. "I mean, you still caught it. Don't sell yourself too short, y'know?"

As Crookedlight's gaze lit up, Ambersun turned to see what he was looking at. Realizing what it was, the young she-cat's eyes widened in shock. A beautiful patch of flowers, with whites, blues, and purples, so small but so beautiful. How did I miss that earlier? After Crookedlight picked one of the prettiest white flowers for Ambersun, the ginger she-cat giggled in delight. "I love it," she grinned, stretching her neck to put it behind her ear.

Now it was her turn to return the favor.

Searching the patch for a pretty blue or purple flower for the black-and-white tom (she felt those would look better on him than a white one), the light ginger she-cat plucked one of the dark purple flowers, before returning to Crookedlight. "Hold still, darling," she cooed, tucking the flower behind Crookedlight's ear. "Wanna go look at our reflections in the creek?" Yeah, they were skipping on hunting duty, but she wanted him to see how pretty the flower looked on him before they continued their hunt.

Ambersun smiled. "You look amazing," she mewed, before leading him to the creek. The water was sparkling clear, allowing her to see her reflection perfectly. She could see her ginger ears with a gorgeous white flower perched right behind it. Giggling to herself, she gazed warmly at Crookedlight. With the flower she picked out, he seemed even handsomer than he already was, even if the flower Ambersun chose wasn't perfect.

With Crookedlight's comment, Ambersun agreed. "Yeah, I think so, too." The creek had some sort of... calming presence to it. She couldn't describe why, but she felt at ease here. Perhaps it was because of Crookedlight being with her. Just... someone she trusted, someone she cared about. She slowly rested her tail the black-and-white tom's, before turning up to him. "Y'know, Crookedlight, I really like spending time with you."
