Getting to Know You [C]

Nectarpaw padded away from the fresh kill pile, snow white feathers clutched gently between her jaws.

She paused for a moment, her pale green eyes scanning the camp for Sootstorm or even Ferntwist if he wasn't around. Much to her chagrin, neither seemed to be around.

She was hoping she could ask her mentor to brush up on her battle skills or, if he was busy, maybe see if Fernteist could take her to the flower fields again.

However, it didnt look like either of those things would happen.

Thankfully, she had something else to occupy her until one or both of them came back. So, with a pleased flick of her tail, Nectarpaw dissapeared into the shelter of some nearby grass around the back corner of the nursery.

Purring to herself, the tortoiseshell she-cat settled down and looked out at the collection of pretty flowers and plants around her. This was one of the best spots she could find to hide her tiny little garden and, so far, nobody had found it. Or, if they had, they hadnt said anything about it.

Here, Nectarpaw had planted and grown a little collection of her favorite flowers she'd found in the flower fields. So, in the event that she needed a particular flower for one of her bundles, she could come here.

Along with the flowers, she had gathered some pretty feathers which were wedged carefully between two stones.

Humming, Nectarpaw spread out the feathers she'd grabbed only moments ago and carefully set about the task of securing them with the others.
