Sassypaws Assesment

Lightningshock walked into the apprentices den, he spotted Sassypaw and walked over to her. He shook her and woke her up, "Are you ready for your assessment?" He whispered in her ear

Sassypaw yawned deeply, before opening her eyes slowly. "...An assesment?" She asked, purring in delight.

"Yeah, Come on" He nudged her

"Okay..Okay!" She mewed, getting up and stretching out of her den. "What will this assesment do if I beat it? Or... however what happens after."

"Oh you don't beat the assessment, your goal is to catch as much prey a you can before dawn" He corrected

"Oh," She figured, blinking. "What happens after Dawn?" She asked, walking out the barrier already.

"I tell goldenstar about your progress" He replied
OOC: Have you been to a gathering yet?

"That sounds delightful!" She purred, "I like to catch prey..." She waited for Lightningshock to lead her to where ever she needed to hunt.

Lightningshock led her hrough the gorse tunnel, "okay, you can start here, don't pay any attention to me I'll be watching" He jumped into a bush
OOC: You use hunting system in this okay.

"Okay!" She mewed, sinking her nose into the piled leaves like a bloodhound. "Mouse..." She muttered, looking over to the nearby tree. It looked too far for her to reach, but she wanted to try. She bent down, jumping to the mouse. She bit its scruff. enclosing it in her arms, ending it's life in a single nip. She dropped it over by the bush her montor was by, and paddled away to find more prey.

Sassypaw searched the forest for almost a silent ten minutes, till she found a plump squirrel, she leaped for it, unprepared at all. She almost missed it by a mouse tail away. She bit into it's fluffy tail, tasting the soggy blood seep into her jaws. She ended it with a single claw to slit it's throat.

Sassypaw dug it into the ground, just as she did with her mouse on her first day. She scanned the floor anouther time, finding two mice under a tree. They seemed small, and must've been litter mates. She leaped for one, enclosing the other with her broad arms. She killed one with a bite to the neck, and the other sufficated under the pressure of her pads. She picked them up by the tails, burying them next to the squirrel. She felt wrong killing these animals, almost like killing every kitten in the nursery.

Sassypaw could hardly lift a paw. She looked over at a black bird in a tree, leaping to it. It pecked at her paw, peircing the pad, but she ended it's life with a claw to the neck. She picked it up with pride, burrying it in the ground.
