Coyotegrin stood on top of the crest of the camp, her face set in a determined grimace. Dirt clung to her pelt and gently blew off in the wind. Next to her was something simple, but ingenious. To her, anyway. A hole. Just deeper than the length of a cat with outstretched paws. Not deadly, but troublesome. Earlier in the day she had asked multiple cats to come meet her at sun high in this very spot. If they didn't come, so be it. She'd do it herself.

Luckily for her, she wouldn't be completely alone. Right at sun high, Kestrelchirp exited the camp and quickly headed to his mother. "Mother, what's this?" He asked with curiosity, flicking his tail to the hole she stood next to.

"A hole. I'll explain more when everyone arrives." Coyotegrin replied simply with a nod coming from her son.

Amberstone wasn't exactly a fan of work and tended to silently curse everyone and everything around her while doing it... but she did do it. She approached Coyotegrin and Kestrelchirp to see what was going to be needed. Dirt clung to Coyotegrin's pelt and the scent of freshly dug earth was rich in the air. Oh joy, manual labor... A slight twitch of the tip of her tail was the only sign she gave of annoyance. That said, it didn't show at all on her face or in her voice.

"Alright Coyotegrin... what we doin'?'" She asked casually, honestly wondering what in the world that hole was for. She stood ready to do whatever was instructed. She was filling up on rabbit after this though, and to the Dark Forest with anyone that had anything to say about it.

Nectarpaw pushed her way through the gorse barrier shortly after Amberstone, having heard word earlier from Coyotegrin to meet here. She didn't know what for, but she was, unsurprisingly, very curious to see what was going on. Oh, and it looked like Coyotegrin was already here!

The she-cat trotted up to the gathered cats and craned her neck to peer into the hole. What in the name of Starclan was that? She looked at Coyotegrin as Amberstone asked what was going on. Yes, good question.

It looked to be deep enough to get a cat seriously discombobulated if they fell into it...was this in regard to the tensions with Shadowclan? She wouldn't be surprised...things seemed pretty heated from what she heard of the last gathering. In any case, Coyotegrin would explain soon enough.

Ear twitching, Nectarpaw sat down a safe distance from the hole and looked around at her clanmates. Was anyone else coming? Whatever this was, it seemed like a whole lot of work for four cats...
