| Whinterpaw spotted a squirrel near a bramble bush. He crept up on it and pounced on it before it could escape. He buried it and scurried off to find more prey.

| He stopped and pricked his ears. He could hear pawsteps of a vole passing nearby. He dropped into a hunter's crouch and leapt towards it but it turned around to see him and it ran off.

| Whinterpaw sniffed the air, trying to catch any scent of prey around him. "Mouse!" he thought. He went to the direction of it and saw it. He jumped on it but just missed it.

| He pricked his ears and heard a bird on the ground. He crouched and pounced at it and took it out with a swift blow with his paw.
