Sunset's Disappearance (Any TC cat please join!)

Deadfrost stretched, and got up for his early morning hunt. It had been nearly a moon since the fire, and Deadfrost had been on his paws every waking hour,, busy with hunting for the elders and clearing up the camp, as well as apprentice training. That's when he noticed, someone was missing. Sunset! He'd not seen her since the fire. A little needle of fear pricked him. "Sunset?" he called. "Sunset!" He started to search around ThunderClan's camp, his cries growing more and more frantic, as her scent was stale, anywhere he found it. Finally, he came to one conclusion. She's missing!
He hurried into the warriors' den, and prodded his mate. "Featherfall," he meowed. "Sunset is missing!"

Whinterpaw poked his head out of the appretnice den."Sunset?Missing?!" he meowed to Deadfrost."You sure she didn't go hunting?"

Deadfrost shook his head. "Not for a moon." He sighed worriedly. "I haven't seen her since the fire."

"What!" Beechpaw screeched.

Deadfrost looked back at Beechpaw. "I don't know why or how she left, but something tells me it wasn't a good reason." He shivered, remembering what had happened to Sapphire.

"We have to find her!!" she mewed.

Deadfrost stood. "Yes, we do. I must inform Leopardheart or Goldenstar." He padded off.

In his absence, Featherfall flipped over in her bedding, mumbling about a giant mouse she had to catch. Must have been a dream, or prey was getting really ignorant after the fire.

"Wait a sec." He turned,going back into the warriors' den, prodding Featherfall again. "Featherfall!"

Featherfall sat up in her bedding, and shreiked. Her eyes closed, and she breathed deeply. When she opened them once more, humor flashed in her eyes for a moment. "Deadfrost, dear, you scared me! What is it?" She said rasping her tounged over his ear.

Deadfrost took a deep breath. "Sunset is gone. She's not hunting, because I followed a couple scent trails, and they were stale and old." Worry flashed in his eyes. "I'm going to ask Leopardheart or Goldenstar if we can hold a search party immedietly."

"Sunset's missing, we must find her" He exclaimed

Featherfall eyes flashed. "Sunse-, Suns-, no no no. You all don't understand. She's not missing, I promise. She's probably looking for catmint. Helping out Lilyleaf. She can't be missing. She isn't missing. She isn't missing. Maybe she went to meet Brambleflame at the ThunderPath." She said rambling on and so forth, as though she was crazy.

Deadfrost made fake coughs when Featherfall mentioned Brambleflame, keeping his sister's secret safe. "No, I checked there. All the trails were stale." His words shook. What if twolegs caught her and are doing what they did to Sapphire? He shook his head, desperately trying to push the thought away.

Featherfall shook her head left and right, hard, until she had a headache. Tears streamed down her face. "She isn't missing!" She cried out to Deadfrost, looking at him with deep blue, almost black, eyes that burned with an uncontrollable, raging, fire. "I know she isn't missing." The she-cat whispered to her mate. She walked passed him and out of the gorse tunnel.
