SkyClan's Most Favorite Cat Returns [Open]

After waiting for Crookedpaw for an extensive amount of time to exit the nest, Trufflesnap gave up and started to find her way back home. Keeping her eye out for her mother, she wandered the Twoleg Place until the forest was seen. From there, she followed the scent markers. Eventually, a whole sunrise later, she found herself crossing the border into SkyClan. With a sigh, she continued on. From here, she knew her way around so the rest of the journey was quick.

Perhaps she should go back to Four Trees and return there... But camp was closer and she was tired. As she came closer, the thick smell of SkyClan hit her maw and it was clear that SkyClan had returned to camp. Pausing outside the boundaries, Trufflesnap paused. She didn't really want to come back, but she didn't want to stay in the Nest either. Maybe she could run to Beetleshade in ThunderClan... Anything would be better than being the only unimportant sibling in the clan, her nose rubbed in the filth constantly of her favors. But, with a sigh Trufflesnap continued on. It would be more fun to torment her sisters until she was finally exiled. A scary reputation, one that gave her power. As soon as her paws hit the other end of the entrance, Trufflesnap called out.

"I'm hoooommeeeee." Puffing out her chest she strode to the middle of the camp and glanced around, eager to see the reaction her 'clan' would give her for returning for so long. Did they even miss her?

The camp was slowly, slowly being cleaned up and rebuild, though the effect of the great shake was very much still visible, a stain on Skyclan's territory. Wolfblossom was glad to be home, but worry gnawed at the tabby and white deputy even so. Crookedpaw, Blackbear, Trufflesnap, Fogfeather had returned only to disappear once more... And now Astershine and Plumleaf had gone missing as well. There had been no sign of Beechfang recently, though Wolfblossom knew that logically, her mother was quite capable of taking care of herself, and was no longer a clanmate for her to worry about. Still, it was unsettling. The continued disappearances, and only one cat had returned so far.

Or two, rather. Wolfblossom's head lifted as Trufflesnap's harsh voice split the quiet air, the deputy padding toward the camp entrance. "Welcome home, sister." She greeted, tone still warm despite the obvious tension between some of her siblings, and the way that Trufflesnap had turned away at her own deputy ceremony with a fit of coughing. She was still her sister though, and Wolfblossom would treat her like it.Family, what little there was of it left, was still important to Wolfblossom. "Are you okay? Have the twolegs done anything to you?" She briefly touched her tail to Trufflesnap's flank. "I hope you didn't go all the way to fourtrees looking for us, we only came back just a few days ago." That was probably obvious from the state of Skyclan's camp. There was work to be done still, more of it than Wolfblossom would have liked. But it was getting there. Even more stark than the still in-progress camp however, was Skyclan's missing. She hoped that nobody thought something more major had happened and had gone looking for Skyclan without first checking the obvious places, however dangerous they still were.

"You're alone... I suppose you haven't run into Blackbear, or our captured clanmates at all?" Wolfblossom shook her head, "I'm glad you're back, though. I was worried." She added quietly.

Trufflesnap would say she was surprised that a large crowd of cats weren't there to see her, but that would be a lie. Nobody wanted much to do with her anyway. But, Wolfblossom came over and rapid fired questions to her. "They took me to the cutters and put this thing on me." She grumbled, motioning with her tail to the color bandana. "And yes, I saw Crookedpaw. He was in the Twoleg nest with me. I couldn't get him out. Waited forever for him, he must not have been able to make it." Wolfblossom wouldn't dare challenge her on this, would she? Besides, it wasn't a complete lie, just not the full truth.

"What is that thing?" Wolfblossom eyed the pink thing around Trufflesnap's neck, unease obvious as she stared at it. "It's not hurting you, is it? Maybe we can try removing it?" And yet... She was doubtful, with how the thingie was around Trufflesnap's neck, what if trying to did actual harm? Before she could dwell on it for too long, Trufflesnap spoke again, revealing that Crookedpaw had been captured with her... And failed to escape. For a moment disappointment showed on Wolfblossom's expressions, to quickly be replaced by a cheeriness that was most definitely not forced in any way. "He'll find a way out, he has to. Or Blackbear will find him..." Her voice trailed however, ears flattening for a moment in clear dismay. She didn't want to believe that Trufflesnap hadn't tried her hardest to get a clanmate out of the twoleg's clutches, so something must have gone wrong. She'd waited but... She would have tried to get him out of there, not just wait, right? "You did what you could, I'm sure. I just..." Wolfblossom let out a huff. "Astershine and Plumleaf have gone missing. Blackbear still hasn't returned either, and she went to look for Crookedpaw. And Fogfeather... He's gone. Again. I don't know if it was the twolegs or something else." For a brief moment, frustration flashed in the depths of her pale gaze.
